5 Million More Americans Enrolled in Obamacare
Five million more Americans are enrolled in the Affordable Care Act, as known as Obamacare, in 2023-2024, bringing a record 21.3 million on the plan. Nine million Americans on ACA qualify for assistance in the payments through the program. Premiums now lowered by as much as 40%.
Lower Prescription Drug Prices for Americans
Democrats took on Big Pharma and lowered prices of prescription drugs by allowing Medicare to negotiate with manufacturers. This new provision was the first time since the creation of Medicare. Big Pharma making big profits off the government is coming to an end. This was another impact of the Inflation Reduction Act, supported ONLY by Democrats.
