ABORTION IS UNDER ATTACK in pennsylvania
Abortion is hanging by a thread in Pennsylvania. Although still legal up to 24 weeks and after that, with some exceptions, the very conservative Republican led state legislature wants to ban abortion in all cases without exception. Only a veto from the Democratic Governor Tom Wolfe is keeping it from becoming law.
To get around this veto, Republican legislators are working overtime to change the state constitution. 20 states currently have total bans on abortions. This includes for cases of rape and incest. Some states don’t even have exceptions to save the life of the mother.
